Calls to mobilesThe US telecommunications company, MCI WorldCom, recently filed a complaint with the European Commission against mobile operators in Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands, alleging that the prices charged by these mobile operators for terminating calls from fixed networks are both excessive and discriminatory. The MMC's inquiry into the price of calls to mobiles in the UK sheds light on the issues raised.
