Dr Don Anderson
Don manages the Frontier Economics (Australia) Brisbane office and has been a member of the Frontier team since 1999. He has played an extensive role in the design and implementation of energy reform in Australia.
Don has advised on capital structure and cost of capital, governance and performance, regulation, asset sales, valuation and corporate strategy issues across a number of sectors, including electricity and more recently water and forestry.
Don headed the electricity reform units in both Queensland (the Queensland Electricity Reform Unit) and New South Wales (The Market Implementation Group in the NSW Treasury) which implemented significant reform programs including pro-competitive structural reform of the sector and the introduction of competition in electricity retailing.
Prior to 1999 Don was a Professor in the University of Queensland Business School. Don was also Chairman of the Industry Research and Development Board and has served on several Government Bodies.
