James Allan

James joined Frontier in 2004 and primarily works in the energy practice. He has advised policy makers, regulators and industry on all aspects of energy markets in Australia and Asia. Predominantly, James's work has involved the analysis of utility markets using and enhancing Frontier’s suite of electricity market models, including SPARK, WHIRLYGIG and STRIKE. 

Recent project work has included valuation of power generation assets in Australia and Singapore, providing advice that lead to a change of the regional boundaries in the Australian National Electricity Market for an Australian regulator and analysis regarding the introduction of emissions trading schemes on electricity markets.
