Dutch energy regulator publishes decision on gas flexibility services
The Dutch energy regulator, EK (formerly DTe), today published a method decision regulating the provision of gas flexibility services by Gastransportservices (GTS), the Dutch gas transportation network operator. According to the decision, the provision of gas flexibility services will be regulated over the period 2009 to 2011.
In its decision, EK referenced the 2008 study by Frontier (Europe), Research into gas flexibility services, and found GasTerra, a Dutch gas shipper, to be dominant in one or more markets for gas flexibility services over the period 2009 to 2011.
