Utility regulation under review in Ukraine
A team of Frontier experts supported a Round Table of Ukranian parliamentarians and senior staff in public authorities on reform needs to the pricing and regulation in the water, heating and municipal housing sector. The event focussed on the lessons from the UK, Germany and France but also considered the complications that arise due to existing soft budget constraints and cross subsidies. The Round Table attracted broad coverage in the Ukranian media and was one event in a series of activities initiated by the German Advisory Group (GAG). The GAG is funded by the German government.
