Frontier to assess impact of economic and social research funding

Frontier (Europe) has been asked to assess the impact of economic and social research funding by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). This work follows on from Frontier's report to the ESRC last autumn on the appropriate methodology for measuring impact. The focus of this assessment is two case studies, each focusing on one of the ESRC's major research centres and assessing the extent to which it is possible to measure the value of the outcomes derived from the centres' outputs.  Frontier is due to report its findings to the ESRC in September.
