Colombian telecommunications regulator publishes proposal for sector regulation
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Colombia (CRT) has published its proposal for the regulation of telecommunications markets in Colombia. The proposal identifies the relevant markets for the purposes of regulation as well as the operators with significant market power. In particular, CRT identifies two relevant markets at the retail level and four at the wholesale level. Interested parties have until 23rd January to submit responses to the proposal.
Frontier (Europe) is advising Telefónica Móviles Colombia on CRT's proposal.
