New partnership in German energy sector - EnBW take stake in EWE

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has announced that it has completed the take over of 26% of shares in EWE AG. The shares were previously owned by 21 districts in the Ems-Weser-Elbe Versorgungs- und Entsorgungsverband alliance. The total volume of the transaction is approximately €2 billion.

Frontier (Europe) advised EWE on regulatory and commercial aspects of the partnership with EnBW.
