Workshop on interconnection regulation in Ukraine

Frontier (Europe) led a workshop on interconnection regulation in Ukraine and presented on best practice regulation of fixed and mobile interconnection services. The workshop was organised by Telenor Ukraine and the National Commission for Communication Regulation (NCCR), Ukraine's national telecommunications authority and was attended by representatives of the NCCR, the major telecoms operators in Ukraine and other stakeholders.

At the workshop Frontier focused on the importance of introducing transparent regulatory regimes for interconnection and described in detail the different methods that can be used to determine regulated charges. Frontier then presented a set of recommendations and a roadmap for how cost based regulation could be implemented in Ukraine.
