8th Conference on Applied Infrastructure Research
The 8th Conference on Applied Infrastructure Research was held at the Technical University of Berlin on 09-10 October 2009. At this year's conference academics, practitioners and policy makers from the transport, energy and telecoms sectors met to discuss “Innovation in Network Industries – Markets and Regulation, Pull and Push".Frontier Economics (Europe) was one of the sponsors of the conference and gave three presentations. Dr. Anton Burger from Frontier's London office held a presentation titled "Can we measure welfare?"; Dr. Andreas Seeliger from Frontier's Cologne office talked about "Global Gas Demand Prospective: Is the End of Gas Boom in Sight...?"; and Dr. Jens Perner, manager at the Cologne office, presented his paper "Carbon Capture and Storage - Supporting by Sticks or Carrots?"
