Ofwat publishes price limits for England and Wales
Ofwat, the UK water industry regulator, has released its final price limits for water and sewerage charges for 2010 to 2015. The determination includes a small fall in real prices (after taking account of expected inflation) together with an investment programme of £22 billion over the five years. Companies have until 26 January 2010 to decide whether to accept the price limit proposals or refer the matter to the Competition Commission.
Frontier (Europe) supported several water companies in the preparation of their business plan submissions to Ofwat and in responding to Ofwat's draft determinations.
