UK Competition Commission consults on payment protection insurance market
Today, the UK Competition Commission (CC) published further analysis conducted to help decide what remedies, if any, should be imposed to enhance competition in the supply of payment protection insurance (PPI). The analysis includes an assessment of the benefits of single premium charging and lower credit prices.
The CC has invited comments on its further analysis, with a closing date for submissions of 28th October 2008.
