Impact of financial crisis in Spain and Latin America
Jorge Esteban León, an analyst with Frontier (Europe), was recently interviewed by the news service El Comercio del Ecuador about the effects of the global financial crisis on Spain and Latin America. In the interview, Jorge defends the increase in Spain’s deposit guarantee from €20,000 to €100,000 and considers mechanisms by which the effects of the crisis in Spain may be transmitted to Latin America.
