Telecoms regulation in the Bahamas

Frontier (London) has been appointed to advise the Telecommunications regulator of the Bahamas in relation to the development of an appropriate price cap, following liberalisation of the domestic telecommunications market. Frontier has been asked to recommend a formula which is robust yet simple, based on its experience of price cap regulation and international best practice. Frontier will also undertake a comparative study of efficiency performance in similar telecommunications environments to recommend a range for the efficiency factor X. The study is expected to be complete by November.
