Ofcom consults on Openreach prices
Ofcom published today its first consultation document on a new pricing framework for Openreach - the organisation created by BT to manage its access network on an arm's length basis. The purpose of the review is to determine whether there is a need to change the existing level and structure of charges for the regulated wholesale access services of Openreach, and consider the introduction of a forward looking price control framework for these services. These include wholesale line rental and local loop unbundling (LLU).
Frontier (Europe) is advising one of the parties involved in the review.
