The Swiss Federal Institute for Water Supplies and Sewerage (EAWAG) invited experts and industry participants to exchange their experiences in water industry restructuring. Christoph Riechmann, a Manager at Frontier (London), presented the UK perspective of water industry restructuring and regulation. The international audience was particularly interested in the UK approaches to the use of benchmarking in regulation and the creation of a regulatory environment that facilitates third party access.
