Assessing schemes for tidal power in the severn estuaryOver the years various schemes for the development of the Severn estuary, and in particular for the erection of a barrage to harness tidal power, have been suggested. In January 2008, the UK Government published the terms of reference for a feasibility study. Frontier Economics was commissioned by a group of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to examine two aspects of the debate.
