Frontier studies future life chances for Equality and Human Rights Commission

There is a growing body of evidence that what happens to people in the early years of their lives is a critical factor in determining their future life chances. Early years' drivers such as child poverty, the pattern of early years development, family structure and the quality of pre-school education can be linked to future rewards in employment and the chances that an individual is involved in criminal activity.

The UK Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has appointed Frontier (London) to review the evidence and to assess whether current policies in the UK adequately address inequalities in the early years and their implications for opportunities later in life.
