Paul Johnson quoted in Financial Times
George Osborne, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, has announced that he will scrap the Pre-Budget Report (PBR). Paul Johnson of Frontier (Europe) gave his view to the Financial Times “The PBR was a useful thing in principle, but mostly it was an opportunity for the chancellor to have a second set-piece event and hoover up a whole host of announcements from across government.”
Paul was formerly the Treasury's Chief micro-economist and deputy head of the Government Economic Service. He is part of Frontier's public policy practice which works with a wide range of UK government departments.
