Frontier advises DTI on the burden of competition and consumer regulations
Frontier (London) has been appointed by the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to develop and apply a methodology for evaluating the costs and benefits of existing government regulations. Frontier has already advised several clients on measuring the administrative burdens that regulation places on businesses. The DTI has decided to go one step further and examine the total burden of its existing competition and consumer regulations. Frontier has been asked to develop a robust, implementable framework for calculating costs and benefits and to apply that framework to selected regulations.
