Power Sector Reform in Pakistan

The Government of Pakistan is in the process of reforming the country's power sector. A two day workshop was organised by various entities in Pakistan and the World Bank in order to review international experience in implementing different market-orientated models for the wholesale supply of electricity. A key objective of the workshop was to identify lessons for Pakistan from international experience. Michael Webb, a director at Frontier (London), was a keynote speaker at the workshop and led many of the sessions.
