ComReg proposes price cap on eircom
The Commission for Communication Regulation (ComReg) in Ireland has announced its proposals for a retail price cap on eircom's narrowband access services (voice telephony connection charges and monthly line rental) from September 2007.
The proposals are for a freeze in the level of prices during the first year of the cap, followed by increases in line with the retail price index for the following two years.
Frontier (London) advised ComReg on the appropriate structure and level of the proposed price cap.
