Frontier publishes study on the mobile market in Bangladesh
Many countries around the world impose a range of mobile-specific taxes on the goods and services sold by mobile operators. These taxes can potentially have significant costs to the economy. The GSM Association (London), in cooperation with the the mobile operators in Bangladesh, commissioned Frontier Economics to carry out a study to assess the scale of these costs. The results from the study were presented at the GSMA-hosted South Asia Regulators' Seminar in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
