Transport systems have undergone radical reform over the past decade in a number of countries. In the air transport sector, routes have been liberalised and airports have become subject to more incentive-based regulatory instruments. In the rail sector, there has been a stronger emphasis on incentive regulation.

Frontier's transport practice combines an in-depth knowledge of transport markets around the world with the ability to apply advanced economic techniques to the analysis of these markets.

We can add value by advising on, for example, regulatory frameworks, competition policy as applied to transport markets, and auctions of rights to operate particular routes or provide certain services where capacity is scarce.

Our experience includes Europe, Australia and the USA and extends to Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union and across the developing world.
