EC recommendation on mobile termination

The European Commission is consulting on its proposed draft Recommendations on the principles for regulating mobile termination rates across the EU, which were published at the end of June. There is significant variation in the level of termination rates across the EU, and the Commission considers that this may be distorting competition between operators from different countries and between fixed line and mobile phone operators.

Frontier (Europe) is advising parties invoved with the consultation on the potential impact on consumers from adopting the EC's proposals.
