Frontier presents paper to the spectrum policy conference

Frontier (London) partcipated in the 2nd annual spectrum policy conference, "Spectrum management strategies", recently held in London. Neil Pratt, a manager in Frontier's competition and telecommunications practices and an expert in the economics of radio spectrum presented to the conference a paper on the international requirements for spectrum harmonisation. Neil focused on the costs and benefits of radio spectrum and considered possible interactions between spectrum harmonisation and spectrum liberalisation (trading). In particular, this part of the presentation analysed whether spectrum harmonisation could be left to the market in an increasingly liberalised environment.
