Switzerland explores further postal liberalisation
The Swiss Government Department with responsibility for Post and Communications (UVEK) retained Frontier (Europe) and Plaut Economics in Summer 2007 to explore the possible effects of a further liberalization of the Swiss postal sector. UVEK has now published the report by the advisers and its findings. Further detail is provided in the full study.
The work draws on previous related work that Frontier undertook e.g. in the UK and in France. The work also draws on Frontier’s postal modeling approaches.
