Fernando Louge

Fernando is an experienced economist, who specialises in competition policy.

He has advised on numerous merger cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities as well as on antitrust damages litigation cases across different European jurisdictions. His expertise covers multiple sectors including aviation, rail, manufacturing, financial services and utilities. In recent projects, Fernando has supported clients including London Stock Exchange, FirstGroup, Lufthansa, Volvo/Renault, easyJet, Coty and EQT Partners. He works closely with business clients and legal advisors and has extensive experience in managing large-scale projects.

He is based in Brussels and supports clients across Europe.

Before joining Frontier in 2014, Fernando worked as economist at another consultancy in London and was as a post-doctoral researcher in mathematical economics in Germany.

Fernando holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from Universidad de San Andrés (Argentina) with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Economics.
