Sarah Karlsberg

Sarah joined Frontier in 2019 and is a Manager in the Public Policy Practice, specialising in healthcare.

She has experience working for a range of clients in the NHS and the wider public sector.   

Her work has included topics such as the modelling of non-communicable diseases, blood donation, the economic benefits of public sector investments in technology, and research and innovation. She has also been involved in pro bono work to promote diversity in the economics profession.

As an Economist at NHS Improvement, Sarah worked on a range of projects, particularly in the field of cancer care where her work on the drivers of cancer waiting times won the 2018 John Hoy Memorial Prize for the best piece of economic analysis produced by government.

Whilst an Economist at the Office of Health Economics, Sarah managed and contributed to economic consulting projects for clients including UK charities and global pharmaceutical companies. She also developed expertise in policy evaluation, particularly in the field of informal care provision.

Sarah holds an MSc in Economic Policy from University College London.
