CER publishes consultation for Gas Networks Ireland’s Price Control 4

The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER), the energy regulator in Ireland, has today published its draft decision regarding Gas Networks Ireland’s (GNI) Price Control 4. GNI is a gas distribution and transmission company, serving over 670,000 homes and businesses across Ireland.

The CER is now consulting on its draft decision. The consultation papers set out the regulator’s proposals regarding GNI’s allowed transmission and distribution revenues for the period from 1 October 2017 to 30 September 2022. The papers also contain a review of GNI’s costs from 2012 to 2017.

Frontier regularly advises GNI and other companies and regulators on efficiency benchmarking studies and regulatory issues across Europe.
