Mick has over 25 years of experience providing advice to over 500 clients on the major policy issues of the day.
He leads teams that use economic tools to design policies and to test how well policies are working. He works both for public and private clients. He has recently advised governments on tax policy, procurement strategies, and the use of markets in the delivery of public services. He has also advised in the areas of productivity and growth, trade policies, technology and intellectual property. He was previously an economist in the Government Economic Service in the UK and at the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London. He has published articles in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Economic Journal and the Journal of Public Economics. He is recognised for having provided innovative insights to clients questions and leading teams that use robust modelling techniques to provide sound evidence for policy-making.
