Sam is a Manager in Frontier’s energy practice leading projects for public and private sector clients in the UK and European energy sector.
He specialises in electricity and gas market design, in particular related to the low carbon transition, capacity markets, and integrating European energy markets. He also provides clients with electricity market due diligence and litigation support.
Sam joined Frontier in 2013 with more than 10 years’ experience as a professional economist in the UK Government, most recently as a senior economist at the Department for Energy and Climate Change, and prior to that at the Departments for Transport and Communities and Local Government. Sam holds a degree in Economics from Warwick University, and MSC Economics from the London School of Economics.
