David is a Consultant in Frontier’s Competition and Public Policy practices.
He combines quantitative skills with a genuine passion for using economics to support clients.
David’s competition experience includes merger, abuse of dominance and market investigation cases before the European Commission and National Competition Authorities for clients in the digital, retail, online takeaway, energy, telecoms and travel sectors. David recently spent 4 months on secondment at Facebook working as a data scientist in Facebook’s legal team where he worked on a range of competition matters.
David’s public policy work includes evaluation and economic impact assessment in relation to competition, trade, intellectual property and labour market issues. He is comfortable with quantitative and qualitative methods such as cost-benefit analysis, econometrics and case study interviewing and has a good working knowledge of UK business survey and administrative datasets.
Prior to his work in consulting, David interned at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Economics and Management and an MPhil in Economics.
