Cyril Vanderheyden

Cyril advises on a wide range on regulatory, financial and competition issues across sectors, with a focus on energy.

Cyril is a Consultant and works with regulators and businesses in the energy sector to solve complex problem using economic principles and financial modelling. He has helped design energy market policy and has worked on several engagements involving complex wholesale market modelling associated with the acquisition, management or sale of conventional and renewable generation assets. 

Cyril also advises clients on various competition issues, including merger assessments and damage claims following cartel investigations and other anti-competitive practices. His experience working on competition issues covers the retail, automotive, energy and pharmaceutical sectors.

Cyril is fluent in French and English. He joined Frontier after graduating in Economics from Maastricht University and completing a Masters in Economics at University College London.
