Ivy is a business-minded data scientist, skilled in solving real-world problems with data analysis, statistical modelling and economic theories.
She is experienced in building sophisticated models and interactive visualizations to derive valuable insights for our clients. Since joining the firm, Ivy has gained experience working across projects dealing with competition, retail and the finance sector. Examples of her work include :
- The simulation of merger impact on market pricing and customer welfare for a high profile EC merger
- Time-series analysis of trading data for litigation cases
Prior to joining Frontier Economics, Ivy completed an internship at the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics at the University of Leeds. Her research focused on data mining techniques to understand customer shopping behaviour and network analysis of urban flows. She holds a bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance and a master's degree in Business Analytics from the University of Nottingham.
