Emily Nielsen

Emily joined Frontier Economics in 2014 and has worked across all of Frontier’s practice areas.

Her recent work is focused on providing economic support for regulatory issues in water leading up to the next price control in 2020, and in competition and regulation within financial services. She has also applied competition economics to a European merger case. Her work was initially focused on Public Policy as her studies in Social Policy have given her previous exposure to a range of European policy settings.

Emily holds a MSc in Economics (Merit) from Birkbeck College, University of London. She also holds a MA (Honours) in Social Policy and Economics (First Class) from the University of Edinburgh, where she spent her third year at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
