Stephen’s extensive business experience covers finance, strategy and retail operations.
Stephen worked for the investment bank JP Morgan in capital markets technology, risk management and trading. At the Boston Consulting Group Stephen advised both corporate and public sector clients on a wide range of issues from strategy, productivity, M&A, new business models and innovation. At global retailer Tesco, Stephen was Business Development Director, ran stores in Eastern Europe and served as Competition Director where he led Tesco’s response to the groceries market inquiry in the UK. He also helped develop Tesco’s Climate Change strategy.
Stephen has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, UK and an MBA from INSEAD, France. Stephen sits on the Curratorium of the Economics University of Budapest Hungary, was advisory board member to the Cambridge-MIT Institute and a Visiting Fellow at Sustainable Consumption Institute at the University of Manchester.
