Sander is a Manager in Frontier’s Cologne office with more than 10 years of experience as economic advisor in the energy sector.
He has specialised in power market design, storage evaluation, and the interaction of electricity markets and networks. He frequently applies models to analyse different types of energy economic questions.
As part of his work, Sander has worked on several projects on the future of electricity market design, worked on different projects for TSOs to design and evaluate market processes (usually related to short term electricity markets) and various valuations projects for pumped hydro storages with a focus on different technical flexibility concepts and the value that can be generated from short term electricity markets.
