Yulia is an Associate Director in Frontier’s telecommunications practice with over 10 years’ experience in consulting.
She has worked on a range of competition, regulatory and policy issues in the telecommunication sector for clients in Europe, the Middle East, South Africa and South East Asia. Yulia’s technical expertise includes very strong conceptual and analytical skills in microeconomics, good understanding of auction theory and the economics of the telecoms sector.
Yulia recently led a project for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on policies required to support the roll-out of fibre broadband throughout the UK and a project for the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) to understand what the UK needs “to become a world leader in 5G deployment”.
Previously, Yulia worked for one of the mobile operators in the UK (Three). At Three, Yulia led work on spectrum valuation and auction bid strategy for the award of 800MHz and 2.6GHz spectrum.
