Freya works to provide innovative analysis and clear insights across a range of topics in the energy sector.
She combines quantitative skills with strategic and critical thinking to deliver practical insights and solutions for businesses, regulators and governments. Freya draws on economic frameworks and sector expertise to get to the heart of challenges faced by clients, and distils complex concepts into clear language and visuals. Recent examples of her work include providing due diligence support for corporate transactions, and advising on the RIIO-2 price control.
Besides her work in consulting, Freya has over five years’ experience as an economist in the public sector in Australia, where she focused on policy and regulatory issues in energy, climate change, water, circular economy and natural capital.
Freya studied economics and political science at the University of Melbourne and the University of Edinburgh.
