Joe advises clients on disputes, competition cases and regulatory topics in energy, telecoms and adjacent industries.
Since joining Frontier in 2019, Joe has combined his economic, econometric and financial skillsets to bring clarity to the problems faced by Frontier’s clients.
Joe leads financial and econometric analysis in high-profile investor-state and commercial arbitration cases, as well as providing advice on energy dispute cases more broadly. Joe has advised on a number of merger proceedings (including most recently the Vodafone UK – Three UK joint venture), and Joe has experience supporting telecoms and energy clients engage with regulators by setting out clear economic and data-driven insights.
Before joining Frontier, Joe completed a PhD in Economics at Lancaster University. During his PhD, Joe provided Ofgem with econometric support on policy evaluation. Joe’s PhD research used econometrics to evaluate the impact of various English education policies on student attainment.
