Gregor Braendle

Gregor is a Consultant in Frontier's Energy and Competition practice based in the Berlin office.

He brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and clear communication skills to deliver tailored solutions for clients. 

Recent examples of his work include a study on the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries, advising the European Commission on hydrogen network regulation and demand aggregation for strategic feedstocks, and developing a regulatory framework to enable the commercialisation of hydrogen storage.

Prior to joining Frontier, Gregor was a researcher at the Institute of Energy Economics at the University of Cologne (EWI). As part of the Hydrogen Research Programme, he developed a model to estimate the global production and supply costs of hydrogen.
Gregor holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim, with a focus on game theory and competitive economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Heidelberg and the UAB Barcelona. Gregor is fluent in German and English and has some knowledge of Spanish.
