María is a Manager in Frontier's Energy practice.
She has particular expertise in climate change and the low carbon transition. She advises utilities, regulators and government bodies on investment decisions, policy and regulatory adaptation to enable the decarbonisation of the energy sector in and outside Europe.
Prior to joining Frontier in 2015, María worked at Económica Consultores, an economic consultancy with expertise in the regulation of infrastructure services in Colombia, with a seat in the country's Wholesale Electricity Market Surveillance Committee.
She holds an MSc in Economics of Markets and Organizations from Toulouse School of Economics and an MSc in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes.
