Fabian is a Consultant in Frontier’s Energy Practice and works in Frontier’s Cologne office.
As both an engineer and an economist, Fabian advises leading private sector companies and industry associations as well as ministries, regulators and grid operators in the European energy sector. He has more than 7 years of experience in the European energy industry from both commercial and academic backgrounds. Fabian regularly advises clients in the electricity, gas, hydrogen and alternative fuels sectors along the value chain from generation, transmission/transport and storage to distribution to the end user.
Fabian holds a PhD from RWTH Aachen University. Prior to joining Frontier, he worked as a project leader and researcher at the Institute of Energy and Climate Research at Forschungszentrum Jülich. This role involved analysing the impact of climate variability and climate change on Europe’s electricity system. Moreover he holds a Master degree in Business Administration and Engineering, specialising in energy technologies from RWTH Aachen University, with a Bachelor degree in the same field. Part of his studies was completed at the renowned Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.
Fabian is fluent in German and English as well as conversational in French and Hebrew.
