Based in Dublin, Franz uses a combination of his modelling skills and experience in sectoral regulation to break down complex economic issues in network industries.
Franz has advised a broad mix of public and private clients in telecom, transport and energy industries to develop their strategic response to various policy changes or market evolutions and to provide quantitative analysis to assess transaction or partnership opportunities.
Prior to joining Frontier, Franz worked at TERA as an economic consultant with a particular focus on telecommunications markets. Before that Franz worked as economic regulation officer at ARCEP, France’s telecom regulatory authority and as a strategy analyst for EIT, France’s largest MVNO, providing economic, financial, and regulatory analysis with a focus on wholesale access and interconnection markets.
Franz graduated from the Institut Mines-Télécom with a Master’s degree in Network Engineering.
