Mike is a Manager in Frontier’s retail, consumer and financial services practice. He helps clients solve problems relating to business strategy, regulation and government policy.
Mike uses his economic toolkit and commercial understanding to help clients better understand the behaviour of their customers and competitors, to help inform better commercial decisions. His experience includes helping a global restaurant chain trial a new pricing model, advising a large UK retailer on how to improve its loyalty programme, and advising a UK bank on its communication strategy.
Mike also has extensive experience in European and UK competition and regulatory policy, including mergers, market studies and regulatory design. His experience includes advising a major High Street bank its engagement with the FCA, advising a global entertainment company through the CMA merger process, and providing specialist economic advice to Pay.UK on its governance design to help it facilitate competition across the market.
Mike holds an MSc Economic Policy from UCL and a BSc Economics from the University of Bristol.
