Matthias advises leading European companies and public authorities in the energy sector and other sectors.
He helps companies and organisations to analyse the economics of their markets and act to gain competitive advantage or respond to regulatory pressure. He regularly advises on energy market design issues, competition assessment, wholesale and retail pricing, and on the assessment of climate policy instruments.
Before joining Frontier, Matthias worked as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Muenster, Germany, focusing on the pricing of electricity and gas in liberalised markets.
