Mihir Baxi

Mihir combines his quantitative knowledge and understanding of the economy to develop reliable solutions for clients.

Recent examples of his work include supporting large energy retailers during the UK energy crisis of 2021-22 and conducting cost-benefit and probabilistic real options analysis to support infrastructure development. He has also used innovative strategies and his knowledge of competition economics to advise clients in mergers, calculate the quantum of damages in several high profile disputes, and in understanding their firm’s market positions.

Mihir is passionate about combining economic tools and creative data analysis to understand and address topical issues related to clean energy, labour markets, climate change, and digital market regulation.

Mihir joined Frontier in 2019 and holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and is a certified ONS researcher.
