Julian currently works across the Energy and Competition practices, most recently on carbon pricing and a cartel damage case.
He combines quantitative skills with an understanding of the EU regulatory framework and the climate system. In his Energy projects Julian most recently focussed on the de-fossilisation of the transport sector, carbon pricing and electricity market modelling.
Julian studied Economics in Berlin and Istanbul and worked as a student and teaching assistant at the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change, the Technical University and the Hertie School of Governance.
