Frontier Economics to move London HQ to new net zero workspace

Frontier Economics, one of Europe’s largest economic consultancies, announces today that it will be moving its London headquarters to HB Reavis’ Worship Square development in Shoreditch - the international workspace provider’s most sustainable project to date.

Due for completion in 2024, Frontier Economics is taking 33,000 sq ft of fully net zero space in the new scheme, which is also designed with people’s wellbeing in mind.

Worship Square boasts ambitious sustainability goals and will be fully net zero carbon in both construction and operation, targeting BREEAM Outstanding and designed to achieve a 5.5* NABERS rating. The scheme will also be free of single-use plastic, as well as fully electric. Operational energy use will be reduced through air source heat pumps, creating efficient heating and cooling, smart modelling, and photovoltaic cells on the roof to provide onsite renewable energy. The building will also be completely transparent in its energy use and Frontier will be able to monitor live data, helping with ESG reporting and to continually encourage greater energy efficiency.

Frontier Economics places a huge emphasis on employee wellbeing, aligning with Worship Square's vision of heightening the employee experience and allowing people to do more with their working day. Targeting WELL Platinum, the building comes equipped with a multi-functional fitness studio. Employees are also able to borrow a Brompton bike or access a personalised concierge service through the building app. Further, a large street-level cycle store and health club-inspired changing facilities encourage active commuting alongside visible staircases to get people moving through the day.

To support Frontier Economics’ growth strategy, Worship Square offers the maximum level of flexibility. The development will feature “Ready to Work,” HB Reavis’ smart, fully fitted, and managed workspace, allowing the company to organically grow within the building over time. Frontier Economics will also benefit from the building’s inhouse on demand workspaces, meeting rooms, event space (including a communal rooftop terrace) and auditorium, allowing the consultancy to book the appropriate type of space depending on their needs.

Marion Franke, Director of Facilities at Frontier Economics, comments: “The transition to Net Zero is of major importance to many of our clients and is an issue that we are committed to at Frontier. In addition to being a case of ‘practising what you preach,’ Worship Square offers our clients and staff a modern and innovative workspace, suitable for the next stage of our company’s growth.”
